Post-recital relief! Working with my incredible teacher, Hirono, has made such a difference in the few years I’ve been studying with her. It only takes two arms and an instrument to make a violinist, but it’s something else within yourself that makes you a musician, which I have been able to find through a patient and supportive, yet challenging environment. A few months ago, I wouldn’t have thought that I’d be where I am now, especially after a very difficult academic year.
